MOPC has these primary aims for our ministry with children:

  • Teach them to know and love the Lord.
  • Provide a solid foundation of biblical principles, themes, and stories while encouraging them to apply spiritual truths at home, school, and play.
  • Provide opportunities for Christian fellowship and foster an understanding of worship and mission both in the church and outside its doors.

    Who: 4yrs old-5th Grade

    When: One week each summer

What: Kids have fun learning about God through crafts science, Bible stories, recreation, snacks, drama and music, and become more aware of what it means to show God’s love and serve others by supporting a local or global mission project during the week. Our wonderful volunteers provide an amazing, fun-filled experience for all involved!

Who: 3 yrs. old through 2nd grade

The Bible curriculum chosen meets children’s needs mentally, physically, and spiritually. It also encourages children to share Christ’s love through various mission projects throughout the year. This hour of Bible learning is appropriate for families who have a desire to see their children connect with knowledgeable, loving and consistent adults while growing deeper in their relationship with God. .

    Who: 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade

    When: Sundays at 9:45 a.m.

What: This unique small group experience provides our older elementary kids with the chance to play games, have fun, build friendships, grow in faith, and discuss relevant issues among peers of the same age and gender. Our small group discussions are based upon curriculum that engages the children and encourages them to put their faith into practice. Once a month we live out our faith through various mission projects and outreach activities. We also have get together activities once a quarter to just go have a blast together!
